Hi there!
Iām Bobby Neuman, a writer drawn to character-driven science fiction and fantasy stories about hope, redemption, found family, and the complicated, deeply human ways people move forward.
Much of my writing begins with people rather than worlds or plot. Iām fascinated by the things people carry with them, the parts of themselves they try to hide, and the connections that slowly change who they believe they can become. That approach sits at the heart of Archangel, a story that began with one lone wanderer… and gradually grew into a much larger world than I ever expected.
Outside of writing, I practice Shotokan karate, spend an occasionally unreasonable amount of time trying to become less terrible at guitar, rely far too much on coffee as my constant companion, and make room for meditation whenever life cooperates. Each has found its way into my writing in different ways… including the coffee… whether through discipline, rhythm, reflection, or simply learning to keep going when something feels impossibly difficult.
Above all, I write Archangel because I believe in the hope Teifa carries with her. My purpose in sharing her story is to help some of that hope reach beyond the page, and for readers to carry a little of it with them when they need it most.
